Balhae
Balhae was a historical kingdom that existed from 698 to 926 AD in Northeast Asia, primarily in what is now northern Korea and parts of China. It was founded by the remnants of the Goguryeo kingdom after its fall and became a significant power in the region, known for its cultural and economic achievements.
