Baldwin VI
Baldwin VI was a king of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem, reigning from 1183 to 1186. He became king at a young age, following the death of his father, Baldwin V. Baldwin VI suffered from a debilitating illness, which affected his ability to rule effectively. Despite his challenges, he was known for his efforts to maintain stability in the kingdom during a turbulent period.
His reign was marked by the growing threat from Saladin, the Muslim leader who sought to reclaim Jerusalem. Baldwin VI's health deteriorated rapidly, and he died at the age of 24, leading to a succession crisis in the kingdom.
