Baldwin V of Hainaut
Baldwin V of Hainaut was a medieval nobleman born around 1171. He became the Count of Hainaut and Count of Rethel, and later, he was also crowned as the Emperor of the Latin Empire in 1204. His reign was marked by the challenges of governing a diverse territory and the ongoing conflicts of the time.
In 1205, Baldwin V was captured during a battle against the Bulgarians and subsequently disappeared from historical records.
