Adult Bald Eagles have a wingspan of about 6 to 8 feet and can weigh between 3 to 6.3 kg. They primarily feed on fish but will also hunt small mammals and scavenge carrion.

They are known for their impressive flying abilities, soaring at heights of up to 10,000 feet. The Bald Eagle is a symbol of strength and freedom and is the national bird of the United States.
