Golden Eagles
The Golden Eagle is a large bird of prey found across the Northern Hemisphere. Known for its impressive wingspan, which can reach up to 7 feet, this eagle has dark brown feathers with a golden hue on the back of its head and neck. They primarily inhabit mountainous regions and open grasslands, where they hunt for small mammals, birds, and carrion.
Golden Eagles are skilled hunters, using their keen eyesight to spot prey from great distances. They are known for their powerful flight and agility, often diving at high speeds to catch their targets. These eagles are also known to build large nests, called aeries, in high cliffs or tall trees.
