Bahadur Shah I of India
Bahadur Shah I, also known as Bahadur Shah I of India, was the seventh Mughal emperor, ruling from 1707 to 1712. He was the son of Aurangzeb, the last powerful Mughal ruler, and ascended the throne after his father's death. His reign was marked by attempts to restore the declining Mughal Empire and manage internal conflicts.
During his rule, Bahadur Shah I faced challenges from regional powers and the growing influence of the Marathas. He is known for promoting cultural and religious tolerance, as well as for his efforts to maintain the Mughal legacy. However, his reign was short-lived, ending with his death in 1712.
