Baba Muktananda
Baba Muktananda was a prominent Indian spiritual leader and teacher known for his role in the Kundalini yoga tradition. Born in 1908 in Maharashtra, India, he became a disciple of Baba Bhagwan Nityananda, who profoundly influenced his spiritual journey. Muktananda founded the Siddha Yoga movement, emphasizing the importance of meditation and self-realization.
He traveled extensively, sharing his teachings and experiences with followers around the world. In 1971, he established the Syda Foundation to promote his teachings and support spiritual seekers. Baba Muktananda passed away in 1982, leaving a lasting legacy in the field of spirituality and yoga.
