Béla Czóbel
Béla Czóbel was a Hungarian painter born on March 30, 1883, in Szeged, Hungary. He is known for his contributions to the modern art movement, particularly in the early 20th century. Czóbel studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest and later in Paris, where he was influenced by Impressionism and Fauvism.
Throughout his career, Czóbel created vibrant landscapes and still-life paintings, often using bold colors and expressive brushwork. He became a prominent figure in the Hungarian art scene and was associated with the Group of Eight, a collective of artists advocating for modern art in Hungary. Czóbel passed away on November 1, 1976.
