Azerbaijan Popular Front
The Azerbaijan Popular Front (APF) is a political party in Azerbaijan that was founded in 1992. It emerged during the country's transition to independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union. The party initially focused on promoting democracy, national sovereignty, and economic reforms.
Throughout the 1990s, the APF played a significant role in Azerbaijani politics, particularly during the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh. However, it faced challenges, including internal divisions and government repression. Today, the party continues to advocate for political change and civil rights in Azerbaijan.
