Azadi Tower
The Azadi Tower, also known as the Shahyad Tower, is an iconic monument located in Tehran, Iran. Completed in 1971, it was designed by architect Hossein Amanat to commemorate the 2,500th anniversary of the Persian Empire. The tower stands 50 meters tall and features a unique blend of Islamic and Persian architectural styles.
The structure is made of white marble and is surrounded by a large square and park area. It serves as a symbol of Iranian identity and pride, attracting both locals and tourists. The Azadi Tower also houses a museum that showcases the history and culture of Iran.
