Australian Capital Cities
Australia is divided into six states and two territories, each with its own capital city. The capital cities are Sydney in New South Wales, Melbourne in Victoria, Brisbane in Queensland, Perth in Western Australia, Adelaide in South Australia, and Hobart in Tasmania. The two territories, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and Northern Territory (NT), have their capitals in Canberra and Darwin, respectively.
Canberra, located in the ACT, is the political center of Australia, housing important institutions like the Parliament House and the High Court. Each capital city has its unique culture, attractions, and lifestyle, contributing to the diverse identity of Australia as a whole.
