Aurobindo Ghosh
Aurobindo Ghosh (1872-1950) was an influential Indian nationalist, philosopher, and yogi. He played a significant role in the early 20th-century Indian independence movement and was a key figure in the Bengal Renaissance. Ghosh advocated for self-rule and was involved in revolutionary activities against British colonial rule.
Later in life, Aurobindo shifted his focus to spirituality and developed a philosophy known as Integral Yoga. He founded the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, where he taught about the evolution of human consciousness and the integration of spiritual and material life. His writings continue to inspire many in the fields of philosophy and spirituality.
