Attalus I
Attalus I was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Pergamon, ruling from 241 to 197 BCE. He is known for his military successes against the Galatians and for expanding the territory of Pergamon. Attalus I was also a patron of the arts and culture, contributing to the development of the city.
