Arunachala Hill
Arunachala Hill is a sacred mountain located in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India. It rises to an elevation of about 2,668 feet and is considered a spiritual center in Hinduism. The hill is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is believed to have manifested here in the form of a column of fire.
The area surrounding Arunachala is home to several ancient temples, including the famous Arunachaleswarar Temple. The annual festival of Karthigai Deepam attracts thousands, as a giant flame is lit at the summit to symbolize divine light.
