Artabanus II
Artabanus II was a king of the Parthian Empire, ruling from around 10 AD to 38 AD. He was a member of the Arsacid dynasty and succeeded his father, Artabanus I. His reign was marked by conflicts with the Roman Empire and internal challenges within Parthia.
During his rule, Artabanus II faced significant opposition, including a revolt led by Orodes I, his own son. Despite these challenges, he managed to maintain his position for several years. His reign is often noted for the ongoing power struggles between the Parthians and the Romans, which shaped the political landscape of the region.
