Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina was established in 1992 during the Bosnian War as the military force of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was formed from various paramilitary groups and the former Yugoslav People's Army, aiming to defend the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
After the war, the army underwent significant reforms and was integrated into the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005. This transition aimed to create a unified military structure, promoting stability and cooperation within the country and with international partners, including NATO.
