Ardas
Ardas is a Sikh prayer that is recited to seek blessings and guidance from Waheguru, the supreme being in Sikhism. It is an important part of Sikh worship and is performed at the end of religious services, as well as during personal prayers. The prayer expresses gratitude, requests help, and reflects on the teachings of Guru Nanak and the other Sikh Gurus.
The structure of Ardas includes a series of supplications and is often recited in a communal setting, fostering a sense of unity among participants. It acknowledges the sacrifices of Sikh martyrs and emphasizes the importance of faith, community, and service to others.
