Nitnem
Nitnem refers to a collection of daily prayers recited by Sikhs. It includes specific hymns and verses from the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism. These prayers are meant to be recited at different times throughout the day, helping to instill spiritual discipline and connect individuals with the divine.
The primary components of Nitnem are Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasad Savaiye, Chaupai Sahib, and Anand Sahib. Reciting these prayers is considered essential for spiritual growth and is often performed in the morning, evening, and at night, fostering a sense of peace and mindfulness in daily life.
