Arborvitae
Arborvitae is a type of evergreen tree or shrub belonging to the genus Thuja. These plants are known for their tall, conical shape and dense foliage, which consists of scale-like leaves. Arborvitae is commonly used in landscaping for hedges, privacy screens, and ornamental purposes due to its attractive appearance and ability to thrive in various soil types.
There are several species of Arborvitae, with Eastern Arborvitae and Western Arborvitae being the most well-known. These trees can grow up to 60 feet tall and are often found in North America and parts of Asia. Arborvitae is also valued for its wood, which is resistant to decay and often used in outdoor construction.
