Antiracism
Antiracism is the active process of identifying, challenging, and opposing racism in all its forms. It goes beyond simply not being racist; it involves taking a stand against discriminatory practices and beliefs, promoting equality and justice for all racial groups. Antiracism seeks to dismantle systemic racism, which is embedded in institutions and societal norms.
Individuals who practice antiracism work to educate themselves and others about the impacts of racism, advocating for policies that promote equity. This can include supporting movements like Black Lives Matter and engaging in discussions about race, privilege, and social justice to foster a more inclusive society.
