Anthony Salerno
Anthony Salerno was an American mobster known for his involvement with the Genovese crime family. Born in 1911, he rose through the ranks to become a prominent figure in organized crime during the mid-20th century. Salerno was often associated with various illegal activities, including racketeering and extortion.
In the 1980s, Salerno gained notoriety as a key player in the Commission Trial, which targeted the leadership of major crime families in the United States. He was convicted in 1986 and sentenced to 100 years in prison, where he remained until his death in 1992.
