Anthony "Tony Pro" Provenzano was an American mobster associated with the Genovese crime family. Born in 1917, he became a prominent figure in organized crime during the mid-20th century. Provenzano was known for his involvement in various illegal activities, including extortion and racketeering, and he played a significant role in labor union corruption. Provenzano was also linked to the infamous Teamsters Union, where he held a leadership position. His criminal activities eventually led to his arrest and conviction in the 1970s. He was sentenced to prison, where he remained until his death in 1988.
