Anna Sophie of Brandenburg
Anna Sophie of Brandenburg was a German noblewoman born on March 24, 1627. She was the daughter of George William, Elector of Brandenburg and Elizabeth Charlotte of the Palatinate. Anna Sophie became the Duchess of Saxe-Lauenburg through her marriage to Duke Francis William in 1646.
Throughout her life, Anna Sophie was known for her strong character and involvement in the affairs of her duchy. She played a significant role in the cultural and political life of her time, contributing to the development of her region until her death on January 1, 1680.
