Anna Jagiellon
Anna Jagiellon was a Polish queen born in 1476, part of the Jagiellonian dynasty. She was the daughter of Casimir IV Jagiellon and Elizabeth of Austria. Anna became queen consort of Sigismund I the Old when they married in 1515. Her reign was marked by political stability and cultural development in Poland.
As queen, Anna Jagiellon played a significant role in the Renaissance period in Poland. She was known for her patronage of the arts and education, contributing to the flourishing of Kraków as a cultural center. Anna passed away in 1547, leaving a lasting legacy in Polish history.
