Sigismund I the Old
Sigismund I the Old was a king of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, reigning from 1506 to 1548. He was a member of the Jagiellonian dynasty and is known for his efforts to strengthen the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
