Anis Amri
Anis Amri was a Tunisian national born on December 15, 1992. He gained international attention after carrying out a terrorist attack in Berlin on December 19, 2016, where he drove a truck into a crowded Christmas market, resulting in 12 deaths and many injuries. Amri had previously been denied asylum in Germany but remained in the country illegally.
Following the attack, Amri fled and was the subject of a massive manhunt across Europe. He was eventually shot and killed by police in Milan, Italy, on December 23, 2016. His actions raised concerns about security and immigration policies in Europe.
