Salman Abedi
Salman Abedi was a British citizen born on December 31, 1994, in Manchester, England. He was of Libyan descent, as his parents emigrated from Libya to the UK. Abedi became widely known for his involvement in the tragic Manchester Arena bombing on May 22, 2017, which resulted in the deaths of 22 people and injuries to many others.
Before the bombing, Abedi was a student and had a history of attending local schools. He was reported to have been influenced by extremist ideologies, which ultimately led to his radicalization. The attack was claimed by the terrorist group ISIS, highlighting the ongoing issues of terrorism in Europe.
