Omar Mateen
Omar Mateen was an American man born on November 16, 1986, in New York City. He is known for committing the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, on June 12, 2016. This tragic event resulted in the deaths of 49 people and injuries to many others, making it one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history.
