Animal Defense
Animal defense refers to the various strategies and adaptations that animals use to protect themselves from predators. These defenses can be physical, such as sharp claws or tough shells, or behavioral, like fleeing or hiding. Some animals also use camouflage to blend into their surroundings, making it harder for predators to spot them.
In addition to physical and behavioral defenses, some species employ chemical defenses. For example, certain frogs and insects can produce toxins that deter predators. Other animals, like the skunk, use strong-smelling sprays as a warning signal, effectively keeping threats at bay.
