Andronikos Komnenos
Andronikos Komnenos was a Byzantine emperor who ruled from 1183 to 1185. He was a member of the Komnenos dynasty and came to power after a period of political instability. His reign was marked by attempts to reform the empire's administration and military, but he faced significant opposition from the nobility and the populace.
During his rule, Andronikos implemented harsh measures against his enemies, which led to widespread discontent. His reign ended when he was overthrown and killed by a mob in 1185, paving the way for the ascension of Isaac II Angelos to the throne.
