Andronikos III Palaiologos
Andronikos III Palaiologos was a Byzantine Emperor who ruled from 1328 to 1341. He was born in 1297 and became emperor at a young age after the death of his grandfather, Andronikos II Palaiologos. His reign was marked by efforts to strengthen the Byzantine Empire, which was facing internal strife and external threats.
During his rule, Andronikos III focused on military campaigns to reclaim lost territories and improve the empire's defenses. He also supported cultural and artistic endeavors, contributing to the Palaiologan Renaissance. His reign ended with his death in 1341, leading to a power struggle and further instability in the empire.
