Amber Hagerman
Amber Hagerman was a young girl who was abducted in Arlington, Texas, in 1996. She was just nine years old when she was kidnapped while riding her bicycle. Tragically, her body was discovered days later, leading to widespread media coverage and public outcry.
In response to her abduction and murder, the Amber Alert system was created to help locate missing children. This system allows law enforcement to quickly disseminate information about abducted children to the public via text messages, radio, and television, aiming to increase the chances of a safe recovery.
