Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso
Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso was a Portuguese painter born on April 14, 1887, in Manhente, Portugal. He is known for his contributions to modern art, particularly in the early 20th century. Souza-Cardoso studied in Paris, where he was influenced by various art movements, including Cubism and Fauvism. His work often features vibrant colors and dynamic forms.
Throughout his career, Souza-Cardoso created a diverse range of paintings, showcasing his unique style that blended traditional and modern techniques. He returned to Portugal in 1914 but continued to be inspired by his experiences in France. Sadly, he passed away on October 25, 1918, at a young age.
