Alpha Canum Venaticorum, also known as Ain, is a binary star system located in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is approximately 81 light-years away from Earth and is one of the brightest stars in its constellation. Ain consists of two stars, a primary giant star and a secondary companion, which orbit each other.
