Aleppo Soap
Aleppo Soap is a traditional soap originating from the city of Aleppo in Syria. Made from natural ingredients like olive oil and laurel oil, it has been produced for over a thousand years. The soap is known for its gentle cleansing properties and is often used for sensitive skin.
The production process involves saponification, where oils are mixed with lye and then cooked. Afterward, the soap is cut into bars and left to cure for several months. This aging process enhances its quality and allows the soap to develop its characteristic scent and color.
