Al-Mustakfi
Al-Mustakfi was a caliph of the Abbasid Caliphate, ruling from 944 to 946 CE. His reign was marked by political instability and the growing power of regional leaders, which diminished the authority of the caliphate. Al-Mustakfi's rule was short-lived, as he faced challenges from rival factions and was eventually deposed.
After his deposition, Al-Mustakfi was succeeded by Al-Muti, who continued to navigate the complex political landscape of the time. The period of Al-Mustakfi's caliphate reflects the broader decline of centralized power within the Abbasid dynasty, which struggled to maintain control over its vast territories.
