Al-Muntadhir
Al-Muntadhir is a title that means "the awaited one" in Arabic. It is often associated with the belief in the return of the Imam Mahdi, a messianic figure in Islam who is expected to appear at the end of times to restore justice and righteousness.
In Shia Islam, Al-Muntadhir specifically refers to the twelfth Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, who is believed to have gone into occultation in the 9th century. Followers believe he will re-emerge to lead the Muslim community and bring peace to the world.
