Al-Majlisi
Al-Majlisi, also known as Allameh Majlisi, was a prominent Shia Islamic scholar and theologian from the 17th century. He is best known for his extensive works on Hadith, the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad and the Imams. His most significant contribution is the compilation of Bihar al-Anwar, a comprehensive collection of hadith that covers various aspects of Islamic teachings.
Born in 1627 in Isfahan, Iran, Al-Majlisi played a crucial role in the development of Shia thought during the Safavid period.
