Ajax the Lesser
Ajax the Lesser was a Greek hero in Homer's epic poem, the Iliad. He was known for his speed and agility, distinguishing him from other warriors like Ajax the Great. Ajax the Lesser was a leader of the Locrians and played a significant role in the Trojan War, fighting bravely against the Trojans.
Despite his skills, Ajax the Lesser was also known for his arrogance. After the fall of Troy, he committed a grave offense by attempting to dishonor the priestess Cassandra. This act led to his downfall, as he faced the wrath of the gods, particularly Athena, who punished him for his hubris.
