Agni series
The Agni series is a group of long-range ballistic missiles developed by India. These missiles are designed to enhance India's strategic defense capabilities and can carry both conventional and nuclear warheads. The series includes several variants, such as Agni-I, Agni-II, Agni-III, Agni-IV, and Agni-V, each with increasing range and payload capacity.
The Agni-V is the most advanced in the series, capable of reaching targets over 5,000 kilometers away. The development of the Agni series is part of India's efforts to establish a credible minimum deterrent and ensure national security in a complex geopolitical environment.
