Aghori
The Aghori are a small sect of Hindu ascetics known for their unconventional practices and beliefs. They are often associated with the worship of Shiva, particularly in his form as Bhairava. Aghoris seek to transcend societal norms and taboos, often engaging in rituals that involve cremation grounds and the use of human remains to challenge the concepts of purity and impurity.
Aghoris believe in the oneness of all existence and aim to attain spiritual enlightenment through extreme practices. They often meditate in graveyards and consume substances considered impure, such as alcohol and meat, to break free from societal constraints and achieve a deeper connection with the divine.
