Aethra
Aethra is a figure from Greek mythology, known as the mother of the hero Theseus. She was the daughter of King Pittheus of Troezen and is often associated with themes of heroism and destiny. Aethra played a crucial role in the story of Theseus, as she was involved in his conception and upbringing.
In some versions of the myth, Aethra is said to have been a princess who had a romantic encounter with Aegeus, the king of Athens. This union led to the birth of Theseus, who would later become famous for his adventures, including slaying the Minotaur and uniting the city-states of Attica.
