Aegon I
Aegon I, also known as Aegon the Conqueror, was the first king of the Targaryen dynasty in Westeros. He is best known for uniting the Seven Kingdoms through military conquest, beginning in Aegon's Landing. His reign marked the start of the Targaryen rule, which lasted for nearly 300 years.
Aegon I is famous for riding the dragon Balerion and for establishing the Iron Throne, made from the swords of his defeated enemies. He also implemented a system of governance that included the Great Council and the Noble Houses, laying the foundation for the political structure of the realm.
