Aegon II Targaryen
Aegon II Targaryen was a king of the Targaryen dynasty in the fictional world of Westeros, known from the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. He ruled during a tumultuous period known as the Dance of the Dragons, a civil war between rival factions of the Targaryen family over the Iron Throne.
Aegon II was the son of Viserys I Targaryen and Aemma Arryn. His claim to the throne was contested by his half-sister, Rhaenyra Targaryen, leading to a brutal conflict that resulted in significant loss of life and the decline of dragonkind. Aegon II's reign was marked by betrayal and tragedy, ultimately ending with his death.
