Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto
Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto was a prominent Japanese naval officer during World War II. Born on April 4, 1884, he played a key role in planning the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, which aimed to cripple the United States Pacific Fleet. Yamamoto was educated in the United States, which influenced his strategic thinking and understanding of Western military tactics.
Yamamoto served as the Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Japanese Navy and was known for his belief in the importance of aircraft carriers.
