Admiral Alexander Kolchak
Admiral Alexander Kolchak was a prominent Russian naval officer and polar explorer during the early 20th century. Born in 1874, he gained fame for his leadership in the Russian Navy during World War I. After the Russian Revolution in 1917, Kolchak became a key figure in the anti-Bolshevik movement, leading the White Army in the Russian Civil War.
As the Supreme Ruler of Russia from 1918 to 1920, Kolchak aimed to restore the pre-revolutionary government. However, his forces faced significant challenges from the Bolsheviks, and he was eventually captured and executed in 1920. His legacy remains controversial in Russian history.
