Adelaide of Normandy
Adelaide of Normandy was a noblewoman born around 1062, known for her connection to the Norman royal family. She was the daughter of Robert I of Normandy and Herleva, making her a sister to William the Conqueror. Her lineage placed her in a significant position during the early medieval period.
In 1080, Adelaide married Richard III of Normandy, strengthening ties between noble families. After Richard's death in 1087, she became a prominent figure in the region, managing her husband's estates and supporting her children.
