Richard III of Normandy
Richard III of Normandy was a Duke of Normandy who ruled from 1026 until his death in 1027. He was the son of Richard II of Normandy and Judith of Brittany. His reign was brief, and he is often overshadowed by his more famous predecessors and successors.
Richard III's rule was marked by political instability and challenges from rival factions. He was succeeded by his half-brother, Robert I of Normandy, who would later become known for his involvement in the First Crusade. Richard III's legacy is largely defined by his short time in power and the turbulent period of Norman history.
