Adekunle Ajasin
Adekunle Ajasin was a prominent Nigerian politician and lawyer, born on November 27, 1909, in Owo, Ondo State. He served as the first civilian governor of Ondo State from 1979 to 1983, playing a significant role in the development of the region during his tenure. Ajasin was known for his commitment to education and social justice.
In addition to his political career, Ajasin was a founding member of the Action Group, a political party in Nigeria. He was also an advocate for democracy and good governance, contributing to various social causes throughout his life. Ajasin passed away on October 2, 1997.
