Actinidia Arguta
Actinidia arguta, commonly known as hardy kiwi or baby kiwi, is a perennial vine native to East Asia. It produces small, edible fruits that are smooth and green, resembling miniature kiwis. These fruits are rich in vitamins and have a sweet, tangy flavor, making them popular for fresh consumption and culinary uses.
This plant thrives in temperate climates and can tolerate colder temperatures than its larger relative, Actinidia deliciosa. Actinidia arguta requires a trellis or support for optimal growth and produces fruit in late summer to early fall. Its attractive foliage and fragrant flowers also make it a desirable ornamental plant.
